Description
Cannabis Detection Test Kit
The single-use SwabTek Cannabis detection test kit is designed to test for the presumptive presence of cannabis in any form and cannabis residues on any surface. The test detects any cannabis compound (THC, CBD and others), in samples of plants, oils, liquids, vaping pipes, vaping juices, gels, creams and edibles. Test kits have a 5-year shelf life from the date of manufacturing.
Results
The Cannabis detection test is easy to use and renders easy to read results in 20 seconds or
less. Unlike other field test kits, the solvent and dry reagents used in the SwabTek test are
non-toxic and non-hazardous and do not require special disposal.
A presumptive positive result means the test detects the presence of Cannabis in the sample. The SwabTek Cannabis detection test kit is qualitative and not quantitative, which means the test is able to detect the presumptive presence of the drug, and not the amount of Cannabis present in the sample being test.
Contents and Instructions
Each test kit consists of a test swab pre-treated with a non-hazardous solvent and a test card
with dry reagents. Each test card illustrates the testing steps. To use, dab, swab or rub the
substance or surface you are testing with the tip of the test swab for up to 10 seconds. Gently
rub or dab the test swab containing the collected sample in the reagent zone located on the test
card for 10 seconds. If the narcotic is detected in your sample, the reagent will produce a red
color. You may start to see a color change in as little as 10 seconds and up to 30 seconds. If
any red color develops in the reagent zone, the test is a presumptive positive result. If no red
color develops, the result is a presumptive negative result.
